About Founder
Originally from Manchester, England where I did my apprenticeship with Rolls Royce, I came to the U.S. almost 40 years ago and worked for various dealerships around the country – the last being Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills up to 1980. I was the only factory trained mechanic to work there up to that time.
I started British Car Service over 20 years ago, first specialising in Rolls Royce and Bentleys but then, seeing the demand for the service needs for other quality vehicles, we now specialise in the service and repair of late model Land Rover vehicles, 1990 to current (Range Rover, Discovery, Defenders, LR3). We can provide all the service and parts needs as your local Land Rover dealer but at a far more competitive rate.
We have a large client base in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, thanks to years of good service and the accompanying hard-earned reputation.
We have been in the Westside of Los Angeles for over twenty years but we get customers from much further afield. We offer service from something as simple as changing a light bulb to major service and repair – so please feel free to contact us for your service needs.
